Partnership with Housing Counseling Agencies:

FHR is not a direct provider of Housing Counseling services. To ensure the delivery of comprehensive and professional Housing Counseling services, FHR has established partnerships with various certified Housing Counseling Agencies. These agencies are staffed with experienced and certified counselors who are well-equipped to provide guidance and advice on a range of housing-related topics, including but not limited to, mortgage delinquency and default resolution counseling, homebuyer education programs, rental housing counseling, and homelessness prevention strategies.

Referral Process:

Upon contact with FHR, individuals seeking housing counseling services will be referred to one of our partner Housing Counseling Agencies. This referral is made based on the specific needs and preferences of the individual, as well as the expertise and availability of services provided by our partner agencies. It is important to note that FHR carefully selects its partner agencies based on their qualifications, performance history, and commitment to serving the needs of the community with integrity and respect.

No Fees for Referral:

FHR does not charge any fees to individuals for the referral service to Housing Counseling Agencies. Our primary objective is to facilitate access to quality housing counseling services and support individuals and families in making informed decisions regarding their housing situations.

Voluntary Participation:

Engagement with FHR and its partner Housing Counseling Agencies is entirely voluntary. Individuals are under no obligation to pursue any of the options presented by the referred Housing Counseling Agency. It is our goal to provide information and support, empowering individuals to choose the solutions that best fit their unique housing needs.

Privacy and Confidentiality:

FHR respects the privacy and confidentiality of all individuals seeking assistance. Personal information shared with FHR during the referral process will be handled with the utmost care and shared with partner Housing Counseling Agencies only with the individual’s consent and for the purpose of providing the requested services.
